I've been selling Foutas in Roscoe Street Mall for 9 years,although my first encounter with Fouta was The Harissa Incident of 99' who would of thought that after that 10 days in Tunisia 15 years later i would be bringing Fouta to Australia.
Traditional
The traditional weave(also called taffeta weave)is the most basic of textile weaves,the warp and weft are alligned so that they form a simple criss-cross pattern.
Our traditional weave foutas are strong and durable,perfect for that next travel adventure.
For me this is where it all started.
Honeycomb
Honeycomb or waffle weave is a fabric woven in a way which makes it very absorbent.The Honeycomb weave also allows air to flow through the towel so it dries quickly.This texture gives more surface area for absorption than a normal flat weave.
So if you want to pick up your beach game,this is the one for you.
Losange
The Losange weave has 50% more yarn than the traditional or honeycomb fouta,which makes it super absorbent.It's cotton threads,once woven,form a stunning geometric design.It is the newest addition to our range and is destined to be a staple of your outdoor activites but also around the home.
I beleive this weave to be the next,must have item.
Luxe
We have two models in our Luxe collection,First the Geometric and secondly the Sablier.The Geometric design is made on a jacquard loom and takes a lot longer to weave than a traditional fouta but the results are amazing,this towel is super soft and absorbent.A favourite of Interior designers.
The Sablier is an hourglass weave again made on a Jacquard loom.Super soft, super absorbent,one of these would not be out of place hanging in a five star hotel.
